Flatpak 1.16 Improves USB Access, Wayland Integration & Accessibility
A shed-load of improvements arrive in a new stable release of Flatpak. Flatpak 1.16.x sees a new stable series begin and, in the two years since Flatpak 1.14.x series was issued, there’s a lot of change – as those who tracked the unstable 1.15.X series will be aware. The way Flatpak apps access USB devices is significantly improved in Flatpak 1.16.x by way of a new input device permission, and introducing support for USB listing in Flatpak app metadata.
