Samsung is going all-in on foldables this year

For the past few years, Samsung has been launching foldable phones. The company typically launches two models every year. This comes in the form of the Galaxy Z Fold series and the Flip series. However, in 2025, Samsung could launch as many as four new foldables, the most it has ever launched.
This is according to tipster Jukanlosreve, who claims four new models are arriving this year. This includes the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Flip 7 along with two new models – the Galaxy Z Flip FE and the rumored tri-fold.
If you have been following the rumors, Samsung is said to be developing a tri-fold handset. Samsung wouldn’t be the first to create such a device. Back in 2024, Huawei was the first to launch a foldable phone with a triple foldable screen. As for the Galaxy Z Flip FE, it is rumored to be a more affordable version of the Galaxy Z Flip series.
The Flip series has typically been favored more than the Fold series due to its price. However, there have been other handset makers like Motorola who have made foldables at much cheaper prices. The Galaxy Z Flip FE could allow Samsung to better compete in that space. Either way, take it with a grain of salt for now. But if you are in the market for new foldables in 2025, Samsung has four models for you to choose from.
