Introducing Kafbat UI: Simplify Kafka Management with a Modern UI

There’s no shortage of UIs for Apache Kafka these days, but one that stands out as particularly popular is the UI for Apache Kafka by Provectus. This tool was born out of our journey at Provectus, crafted to meet both our needs and the broader challenges of working with Kafka. It quickly gained immense traction and became widely adopted. Two years ago, I made the decision to leave Provectus to focus on other products, but it was disappointing to see that development on this once-thriving project had come to a halt. Despite its popularity, the lack of updates left a gap that many users keenly felt. That’s why we, the core contributors to the original UI for Apache Kafka, decided to fork the project and continue its development. You can easily find it at Kafbat UI. So far, we’ve released two versions and introduced significant improvements, including enhanced smart filters, metrics polling, ACL management, and numerous CVE fixes. We warmly invite you to try out our product, share your feedback, and contribute to its growth. Don’t hesitate to create issues or share your thoughts with us—we’d love to hear from you. This project thrives because of the community, and we’re deeply grateful to everyone who has contributed in any way. Thank you for being a part of this journey!
