How to handle talented over-working people?

I'm not sure I am in the right place but I'm some software engineer and I believe some of you here had the same kind of experiences in the past... There's this very single talented developer in our teams that climbed every single step of our hierarchy and he's currently on a higher step than me and he's clearly very implicated in his job. He wants to know everything and needs to know everything of every single project and team and technology in our company. I'm very glad to have him around ! And he is - again - a very talented developer I wish all the best ! My real concern is about his own life outside of work . He's 27 and do way too many overtime hours. He works in the weekend. He works after work hours. He works all the time. Whenever we rarely meet after work, he's speaking about work and only work. And all the intrinsics linked to (it in some way). A new techno, a new workflow, a new methodology, a new dev in some team, a new business plan ... You name it ... I know that every human have their own limit, I've met my own not so long ago. And I would rather help him make sure he doesn't blow up and keep send me message at 11pm about a subject I should tackle tomorrow ... Have you ever met someone like this ? Have you seen him "blown up" in middle of his career path ? How can I help him make a life outside of work. And how can I convince him that overworking like that, he's definitely crash and burn-out ?
